Balon Erlenmeyer conic 10 ml, racord șlefuit NZ 10/19, sticlă borosilicat — Informații despre produs

Erlenmeyer (conic) flask with ground neck NZ 10/19 is a laboratory glass container designed for the preparation, mixing, and storage of solutions, as well as for the cultivation of microbiological cultures. The ground joint allows for a tight and simultaneously detachable connection to other laboratory apparatus with a corresponding ground joint, which is advantageous for example during distillation, filtration, or other processes requiring a closed system.

Thanks to the ground neck, the flask can also be closed with a compatible ground stopper. This limits the evaporation of the contents and reduces the risk of contamination by air-borne impurities – which is especially important for long-term storage of solutions or when working with microbiological cultures where it is necessary to maintain a sterile environment.

The flask is made of borosilicate glass BORO 3.3, which is resistant to chemicals and high temperatures, in accordance with ISO 4794 standard. A reinforcing ring is located on the neck, which reduces the risk of damage during routine handling. A white scale with graduations serves for approximate determination of the filled liquid volume, while the blank area on the neck allows for own labeling and marking of contents.

What is the flask used for? Mostly for preparation, mixing, and storage of chemical solutions, as well as for cultivation of microorganisms in laboratories. Thanks to the NZ 10/19 ground joint, it can be directly connected to other apparatus with corresponding ground joints, such as a condenser or a separating funnel.

Is it suitable for autoclaving? Yes, the flask withstands autoclaving up to 121°C, allowing its sterilization before microbiological use.

What is the difference compared to a flask without ground joint? A flask without a ground neck can only be closed with a loosely applied stopper or film, while the ground joint ensures a tight and repeatedly separable connection with a compatible stopper or apparatus.

Exact dimensions may vary slightly depending on the production batch. If you are interested in this laboratory glass, do not hesitate to contact our team or order the flask directly in the e-shop.
